Overview of Gelato
Gelato is an Italian ice cream made from milk and sugar, combined with other flavorings. The gelato ingredients are super-cooled while stirring to break up ice crystals as they form. Unlike traditional ice cream, gelato doesn’t add air to increase quantity, giving it a richer and creamier taste. Gelato is also served 10-15 degrees warmer than traditional ice cream, further enhancing its taste as it melts in the mouth.
